Covid-19 Update from Riverwood
Dear Flower Friends, Corporate Customers, and Couples:
We hope you all are doing your best to stay happy and healthy during this time of great uncertainty. I am writing this note to update you on the changes we have made in light of the Covid-19 crisis.
WHAT WE ARE DOING TO STAY SAFE & HEALTHY:
Riverwood Gardens is open by appointment only.
We have re-scheduled all wedding and design consultations as online meetings only. We are so thankful for modern technology that keeps us connected with our clients during this time.
In our Studio we are keeping all tools and work surfaces disinfected, sterilizing all vases and hard materials, wearing gloves during the design process and taking every precaution to ensure the safety of our customers and our design team.
ORDERING FRESH FLOWERS:
CLICK HERE TO VISIT THE SHOP or call our Studio : 613-869-5477 to order fresh flowers for a friend, family member, or to simply treat yourself.
Our floral suppliers have been amazing during this time.
Currently, most of the flowers we are using in our designs are Ontario Grown, which is the way we prefer.
With this in mind, we are slightly limited to creating with what we have available, so we are offering Designer’s Choice Arrangements and Bouquets in Small and Large Sizes. We may need to substitute our signature hobnail jars in the near future due to lack of availability during this time. All substitutions made will be similar in style and quality. We are currently sharing photos and videos of the flowers we have available week-to-week on our Instagram Stories so you can see what we are working with. We are committed to providing the beauty of nature in our trademark style to all of our customers at this time.
OUR DELIVERIES:
All deliveries will be contactless until further notice, including observing all requirements for social distancing and public safety. We will phone ahead to make sure the recipient is home. At the time of delivery, we will leave the flowers on the front porch or with the concierge as applicable, and notify the recipient of the delivery. Note we are not leaving orders with neighbors. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation during this time, as we take the safety and health of our team members and customers very seriously.
We will NOT deliver to the following locations: All Hospitals, All Long-Term Care Facilities, Retirement Homes, and Doctors Offices. We also cannot leave flowers with neighbors or with a third party.
Riverwood Gardens is open for pickup of orders if indicated.
TO OUR CORPORATE AND GARDEN CLIENTS:
The Riverwood Gardening Crew is busy installing and maintaining green spaces and containers for a variety of private and corporate clients.
TO OUR COUPLES:
We know many of you are worried about your upcoming wedding being postponed with the outbreak and gathering limitations set in place. For some, it has already delayed your wedding date. We want you to know we are working to do whatever we can to ensure you experience your dream wedding when the time is right! Please reach out to us if you are planning a backup date, down-sizing, postponing, have any questions, concerns, or just want to chat. Remember, this is not a cancellation! You will still marry the one you love (just a little later than expected) and we are so excited to create beauty to surround you on your special day!
Our team is working with our wedding and special event clients to provide lovely flowers and decor for their special day- no matter the size of event. We are monitoring the situation closely and always have the health and safety of our clients as a top priority.
Our goal during this difficult time is to spread warmth, hope and love in any way we can. Whether it is through one of our arrangements, an IGTV flower demo, or through our stories on Instagram we want you to experience the beauty and therapy that nature can bring to all of us.
Please follow us on Instagram @RiverwoodGardens for daily updates, flower demonstrations, recipes, and lots of natural beauty.
Thank you for your support of our small business during this time. Sending out our warmest regards and many prayers to all affected by this health challenge in the coming weeks.
Warmly,
Amber Tiede
